The Overseas Singaporean Unit (OSU) plans and coordinates a whole-of-Government effort to strengthen national identity and pride amongst overseas Singaporeans and keep them emotionally connected to Singapore. OSU works with many partners to organise and support a suite of programmes that reaches out to a wide demographic of overseas Singaporeans.
You will be part of the overseas operations team based in OSU’s Singapore office to plan, develop, coordinate, implement and review overseas engagement and outreach programmes, in collaboration with colleagues from OSU’s overseas offices and partners from the public and private sectors.
You will need to cultivate and grow OSU’s network of engagement partners and advocates, as well as generate new ideas and perspectives to better achieve OSU’s business outcomes in engagement and outreach.
You will also help to build internal understanding of overseas Singaporeans and issues of interest to them, so as to guide the whole-of-Government engagement and outreach efforts for overseas Singaporeans and support policy reviews.
A degree with at least three years of relevant working experience in engagement and outreach.
Ability to think creatively to develop new ideas and perspectives, and identify areas for improvement.
Good knowledge of local and global current affairs.
Good writing, presentation and communication skills.
Passionate, resourceful and takes the initiative.
Sociable, empathetic and able to communicate with a varied audience.
Ability and willingness to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Team player with ability to work independently when needed.
Some overseas travelling may be required.

Executive/Senior Executive (Singapore Population Health Improvement Centre)
Responsible for project management and oversee all the administrative matters and activities to ensure optimal productivity and cohesion between the research cores and themes. In addition, the incumbent will also serve as the main contact point between potential collaborators, industry partnerships and the researchers in the Singapore Population Health Improvement Centre (SPHERiC).
The key responsibilities include:
Coordinate and track programmes, training and workshops, external grant applications and publications produced as a result of the core Principal Investigators' (PI) projects.
Provide grant management support in areas of procurement, budgeting and cashflow projections for the research cores.
