Job Description

Shell Canada is offering full time employment for a Sales Account Manager in it's Fleet Solutions (Commercial Fleet) division.

The Mission of our Shell Fleet Solutions business is to become the leading global fuel card company and our recent expansion within Canada is a key enabler to achieving this mission.

The Canadian Commercial Fleet business is focused on marketing card solutions programs to direct and indirect fleet customers.

Reporting to the National Sales Director, this position will require an individual to win new direct accounts in mid-larger segments using a 'hunter' mind-

set while maintaining strong partnerships / management of the existing account-base within Central Canada. This is a results-

based role utilizing Shell's full-range of Customer Value Propositions.

This position is in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Canada, and will require frequent travel within Ontario, Canada.

Requirements

Extensive 'hunter' experience and skills involving mid to large segment opportunities are required - particularly in the Fleet marketplace.
Five Years minimum sales experience
Strong negotiations experience and skills .
Substantial B2B credit card experience is preferred.
A solid understanding of value generation and financial dimensions is necessary; as is the knowledge and interpretation of Excel and analytics.
The ability to build and maintain positive relationships and work in a team-orientated environment is vital; and excellent communication and networking skills are required.
A Bachelor Degree from a credible University is preferred.
Ability to communicate in French considered an asset
